  1. What is the minimum age required for car rental in EurorentleiI?
    The minimum age age is 21 years old, with a year of driving experience to the groups Low Cost and Economic. For the other groups you have to have 3 years of driving experience.
  2. What is the minimum rental period of one vehicle?
    The minimum rental period is one day (24 hours).
  3. What are the working hours of EURORENTLEI?
    The EURORENTLEI working hours in city offices are Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 14:30 to 19:00. On Saturdays are from 9:00 to 13:00. On sundays and holidays we are closed. In Airports, we are on Monday to Sunday at any flight schedule.
  4. What documents do I need to pick up the vehicle?
    To lease a vehicle in EURORENTLEI you need a driving license, ID card or passport and credit card for the security of franchise.
  5. Can I pick up or return a vehicle outside the working hours of EURORENTLEI?
    When you make a reservation, you can put the exact times that you wish to pick up and return the vehicle. If the time is outside of our opening hours, a off-peak rate is automatically activated that will be included in the final booking.
  6. Can I pick up or return a vehicle on a holiday or a Sunday?
    Since the reservation is confirmed by Eurorentlei, the survey and collection of a vehicle can be made on a Sunday or holiday.
  7. How I get a quote for long term rental?
    The prices for long-term rentals will always be given on consultation. Send us an email to reservas@eurorentlei.com with information about the time you want to lease, the type of car that you want and the number of miles that you think to make monthly.
  8. Can I prolong the lease?
    If a customer wishes to make the rent extension, he should communicate with EURORENTLEI , at least 24 hours before. This extension will always be subject to the EURORENTLEI approval.
  9. Can I return the vehicle before the end of the contract? Do you return me the value of the days that I did not get the car?
    In case of early return of the vehicle, the EURORENTLEI not make any refund.
  10. How is a car delivery at the airport?
    Vehicles deliveries at the airport are fast and personalized. The customer when leave the luggage room, will find an EURORENTLEI employee with a scoreboard with customer ID. Just go to that person, identify yourselves and you will be immediately sent to the vehicle that you booked.
  11. How is the car return at the airport?
    The return of the vehicle will be outside the airport, near the main entrance of the departures, where an EURORENTLEI employee is waiting for the customer, at the agreed hour.
  12. Can I rent vehicles with automatic gearbox?
    Yes, Eurorentlei provides the car rental with automatic gearbox. For more information about which models are available, please visit the section “Car Fleet”, Automatic Group, here in website.
  13. Can I make a reservation for someone else?
    Anyone can book through our website to someone else and pay the amount with your credit card. However, who picks up the car, will have to submit a credit card in your name or an authorization statement of credit card's holder and a copy of the document for signature confirmation.
  14. The driver has to be the holder of credit card?
    No, the driver doesn't need to be the credit card's holder. However, who picks up the car, will have to submit an authorization statement of credit card's holder and a copy of the document for signature confirmation.
  15. The credit card holder must be present in picking up the car?
    The credit card's holder does not have to be present in the picking up of vehicle, you can submit an authorization statement of credit card's holder and a copy of the document for signature confirmation.
  16. Prices include VAT?
    Yes, all our prices include VAT under current legislation.
  17. Is there any advance for a reservation?
    For bookings made online, the reservation must be made at least 72 hours in advance.
  18. When is made the payment of a reservation online?
    The payment of an online booking is made in full upon confirmation thereof.
  19. What is the fuel policy applied by Eurorentlei?
    The fuel is not included.
    The customer must return the vehicle with the same fuel level which had at time of delivery. When the vehicle is returned with the fuel level below that which had at the time of delivery, will be charged to the customer the importance of the missing fuel.
    The return of the vehicle with the fuel level above what was at the time of delivery is the responsibility of the client. Eurorentlei is not obligated to any refund.

    Option Full/Empty
    If the customer opts for this promotion, for logistical reasons, he will need to contact us until 24 hours before the date of vehicle’s delivery.
    The payment of fuel tank must be done in act of vehicle’s delivery, according to the price set in the fuels market (We multiply the fuel’s price (in date of delivery) approved by ISP by the maximum capacity of the fuel tank of the vehicle reserved).
    If the customer opts for this promotion, he waives to fuel refund that is in the vehicle at the time of return.
    This promotion is made by Eurorentlei safeguarding the interests of customers, providing a service that suits your needs, easier and simpler, with benefits in time and price for both.
  20. Are there any costs to return the car with less fuel?
    When the vehicle is returned with the fuel level below that which had at the time of delivery, will be charged to the customer the importance of the missing fuel.
  21. Is it possible make a survey and picking up of a vehicle elsewhere than at an airport or an Eurorentlei station, for example a hotel?
    Yes you can. You should consult EURORENTLEI by e-mail (reservas@eurorentlei.com) for the price of service of delivery or picking up in a different location than the default by Eurorentlei.
  22. Can I get a car at a station and return it at another station?
    Yes, it is possible that the delivery station may be different than the pick up station, you just have to choose the sites available when booking and the cost will be automatically reflected in the final price.
  23. Can I drive the rental car in Spain or other European countries with a foreign license?
    To move around in Spain or other European countries, for citizens outside the EU is necessary to obtain an international driving license.
  24. Can I return the rented car in a country different from where I picked up?
    You must always inform the EURORENTLEI about what you want. If it is accepted by EURORENTLEI, you must accept the costs associated with that return.
  25. Can I drive the rental car in Spain or in another European country?
    The rent is valid in all continental Portugal territory. If the client wishes to travel to other countries, should select the option exit to outside of the country (extra) The rented vehicle can not move out of Portugal without the authorization of EURORENTLEI.
  26. I have a foreign driving license, can I use your services?
    Yes, you can use our services with a foreign driving license, since the license belongs to EU or Brazil and circulate in the country. Make sure to bring an international driving license (translation) if the local office is unable to read your license (e.g. if it is written in a language difficult to understand).
  27. What payment methods are supported by Eurorentlei for online booking?
    For online reservations the payment must be made with valid credit card: Visa, American Express, Master Card, Discover, Diners.
  28. What payment methods are supported by Eurorentlei for counter booking?
    For Counter Booking the payment can be made with cash, ATM or credit card: Visa, American Express, Master Card, Discover, Diners.
  29. Can I pay the rent by check?
    We do not accept checks as payment. For online reservations the payment must be made with valid credit card: Visa, American Express, Master Card, Discover, Diners. For reservations in the office, the payment may be made with cash, debit card or credit card: Visa, American Express, Master Card, Discover, Diners.
  30. Can I use a check for franchise?
    We do not accept checks for franchises, the security of the franchise should always be made with valid credit card: Visa, American Express, Master Card, Discover, Diners.
  31. Can I make reservations by phone or displace me at a Eurorentlei counter?
    Yes, you can always make a reservation through our reservation center or on an Eurorentlei balcony. If you choose to make a reservation outside of our site the tariff to apply may be different of tariff rates for online booking.
  32. Can I make reservations by e-mail?
    If you prefer booking by e-mail, we accept, please send us an email with all information requested on the booking online form.
  33. How can I check car prices on the Eurorentlei website?
    You can always simulate a reservation; in the 2nd step of the booking will be presented all vehicles available in the group that you selected with their prices. You can always cancel the reservation in course at no additional cost; simply leave the reserve in half.
  34. There are some additional costs that are not in the final price of a reservation?
    Our rates include everything; do not apply any additional costs. In case there are additional costs, our reservations department will inform you of these costs. If you disagree with these additional costs, you may cancel your reservation at any time.
  35. Can I be sure that the vehicle booked is what I will receive?
    If there is no availability of the vehicle requested, Eurorentlei may suggest to customer changes to the reservation request with a new vehicle. The reservation is confirmed only after the client agrees with the changes. In individual cases, the EURORENTLEI can give to the customer a similar vehicle that was reserved or one for superior group.
  36. Can I change my personal information?
    Yes, you can access the customer area, using email and password provided by EurorentleiI. In the customer area you can modify your personal information.
  37. I forgot my password. What should I do?
    On our website in the login area, there is a link “Recover your password”, you just have to put your email and password, and the password will be sent to your email.
  38. How will I know that my reservation is confirmed?
    By completing the process of a reservation request online, the customer will immediately receive an email which confirms receipt. All bookings will be confirmed within 72 hours and the confirmation of reservations will be made by telephone or email. If there is availability of the vehicle requested, EURORENTLEI may suggest to customer some changes to the reservation request. The reservation is confirmed only upon receipt thereof.
  39. The print of the last page of the reservation is a confirmation of booking?
    No, the booking confirmation is always sent within 72 hours for e-mail. If you have not received any email with the booking confirmation please contact our reservations centre. (reservas@eurorentlei.com or by telephone +351 21 716 93 88).
  40. After my request for rental to be confirmed, I can consult reservation information in the website?
    Yes, you can access to the customer area using the email and the password provided by EURORENTLEI. In the customer area you can see all bookings made by website.
  41. After my request for rental to be confirmed, can I change the booking?
    You can always change the reservation details. The changes must always be validated by EURORENTLEI and could face some additional costs. You can contact the Eurorentlei central reservations (+351 21 716 93 88) or by e-mail (reservas@eurorentlei.com).

    Cancellation / Change Reservations
    Once the booking is made, will apply the following cancellation charges and changes in reserves:
    - Changes to reservations after the initial marking, will be charged a cost of € 25;
    - Reservations cancellations until 30 days of the beginning of the rental, will be charged € 50;
    - Reservations cancellations from 29 to 15 days of the beginning of the rental, will be charged 50% of the total of the reservation;
    - Reservations cancellations 14 to 1 days into the lease and no shows will be charged 100% of the total of the booking;
    - In exceptional cases (e.g. pick up of vehicle outside the national territory) may be charged additional costs to the customer, in addition to normal cancellation charges.
  42. Is there a fee for canceling or changing a reservation?
    Once the booking is made, will apply the following cancellation charges and changes in reserves:
    - Changes to reservations after the initial marking, will be charged a cost of € 25;

  43. What is the franchise?
    The franchise is the maximum value of responsability of the driver for damage to the vehicle by this or that there is a third not correctly identified.
  44. Eurorentlei have a system of franchise exemption?
    No. Eurorentlei only allows the franchise reduction. In section "Rent a Car", to reduce the franchise, you must select one of the following two options: Eurorentlei Gold Básic or Eurorentlei Premium Gold. The franchise reduction varies according to the Automobile Group and varies also the daily value to pay for this service.   45. Eurorentlei have a system of franchise reduction?
    Yes. In section "Rent a Car", to reduce the franchise, you must select one of the following two options: Eurorentlei Gold Básic or Eurorentlei Premium Gold.   46. What are the basic coverages included in the insurance contract of lease car in Eurorentlei?
    When booking a car in Eurorentlei site, the Eurorentlei Basic of APOV insurance is included. The insurance includes Limited Civil Responsibility Insurance (doesn’t include baggage) and fire. This insurance covers only the driver. If you want to have insurance for the other car occupants, you must select one of two options: Eurorentlei Gold of APOV or Eurorentlei Premium Gold of APOV. The latter two also cover the driver.
    For more information please visit the "Rent Terms/Deals" area, here in Eurorentlei site. The prices can include accident damages, vehicle total robbery or partial robbery, within the limits of franchise, to employ at the beginning of the reservation / rental.
  47. I had an accident. What should I do?
    You should contact EURORENTLEI immediately and carry the instructions that are given. The Eurorentlei contacts are always present in car keychain. Failing this, always contact the police.
  48. The vehicle broke down, what should I do?
    You should contact EURORENTLEI immediately and carry the instructions that are given. The Eurorentlei contacts are always present in car keychain.
  49. The vehicle was stolen, what should I do?
    You should contact EURORENTLEI immediately and carry the instructions that are given. The Eurorentlei contacts are always present in car keychain. Failing this, always contact the police.
  50. The vehicle was robbed what should I do?
    You should contact EURORENTLEI immediately and carry the instructions that are given. The Eurorentlei contacts are always present in car keychain. Failing this, always contact the police.
  51. Cars can be equipped with GPS?
    All vehicles in EURORENTLEI can have a GPS device. To use this equipment you will have an additional daily cost. Simply select GPS as extra when making your reservation.
  52. Can I rent a vehicle with roof bars?
    Yes, EURORENTLEI has roof bars are available to rent, subject to availability.
  53. Can I rent a vehicle with a ball trailer?
    EURORENTLEI not have vehicles with ball trailer available for rent.
  54. Can I rent a vehicle with snow chains?
    Yes, EURORENTLEI have snow chains for rent, subject to availability.
  55. Can I request a baby chair?
    To transport a child on a vehicle, you must have a baby chair according to age or height and weight of the child. EURORENTLEI can equip the vehicle with a baby chair suitable for children. You just have to choose in the reservations extra the option "baby chair", and then inform the EURORENTLEI on age and weight of the child.
  56. Can someone else drive the car that I rented?
    Yes, the car can be driven by an additional driver. When you book a car you should choose in the extras, the option “additional driver”.
  57. I will have to provide information about other people who will drive the vehicle?
    All drivers who will drive the vehicle must be included in the leasing contract, especially for reasons related to civil responsibility insurance and other of disclaimer. Each leasing contract can only have an additional driver, besides the customer. This hypothesis will have a cost associated. The other driver should provide their driver's license and identification document when collecting the vehicle.
  58. How does EURORENTLEI protect my personal information and data relating to my credit card?
    EURORENTLEI RENT A CAR, responsible for site www.eurorentlei.com, values the privacy of its visitors, undertakes to respect it, ensuring the confidentiality and protection of data entered by users. Has the intention to ensure to users conditions of security and privacy, but only requested and collected the necessary data for the service, according to the explicit statements on the site. The user has full freedom to access your data, correct or delete them.

  59. We assume to users with the following commitments:
    - Allow to data holder the access and correction of information about themselves registered;
    - Do not use the data collected for a purpose inconsistent with the collection;
    - Ensuring the right to free elimination of the data used when requested by the holder;
    - Owning security mechanisms to prevent the display, modification, or destruction of data by person not authorized to do so;
    - Do not realize the combination of personal data, unless authorized by law.
